Senior Data Engineer (fully remote)
A company where the goal is to improve insights in the real estate market, this is an opportunity to join the property team as their new Senior Data Engineer where you will be expected to guide the data engineering work including any tasks, from building the infrastructure, to building ML models, to generating data pipeline to process new data streams.
With offices based across Switzerland, France, Germany, The Netherlands, Czechia, this is a fully-remote opportunity but would be great if you are within distance of one of their hubs!
50% of the business is made up of engineers / scientists so you can expect to work alongside top professionals that will help you become the best at what you do.
We are looking for the following;
- Experience with the following tech; Python, Scikit Learn, Apache Spark, Tensorflow, Kubernetes, GCP, Airflow, Docker, Scrapy
- Hands-on experience with ETL and data processing tools such as PySpark, PostgreSQL, Airflow
- Understanding of best practices in software engineering (clean code, code reviews, TDD, Unit Testing)
- Knowledge of basic data structures and algorithms
- Proficiency with modelling and developing in Python
You can expect to;
- Extract, cleanup, structure and transform complex raw and processed datasets to extract insights from it used to make decisions our property value
- Retrieve a wide variety of datasets and integrate them into the data pipeline before being pushed through to the Value team (Data Science)
- Create and maintain an efficient data infrastructure
- Build data enrichment pipelines, using machine-learning when appropriate
- Continuously provide new ideas to improve our engines and products – fresh ideas are a must!
