Data Scientist

Oxygen Digital has partnered with an ambitious CleanTech start-up, having been assigned to find a Data Scientist with experience in the field of battery energy storage solutions (BESS). This business offers a sustainable, cost-effective and reliably energy storage system using second-life batteries from electric vehicles, built up in a modular design, with varying capacities ranging from 30 kWh up to several MWh, customizable for specific needs.

The profile we’re looking for:

  • Tech: Python (or C, C++ and Java), SQL, AWS (their battery cloud solutions is hosted in AWS), Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Bash, dbt.
  • Knowledge and practical experience with machine learning, predictive modelling, optimal control and reinforcement learning.
  • Experience in ETL/ELT and in building efficient data pipelines.
  • Background in LiIon batteries and battery state estimation algorithms is a clear plus.
  • An understanding of the energy markets is a clear plus.

Salary:

– Up to €8,000 a month gross (depending on experience and decided by the client).

 

Our client forecasts a promising roadmap, as they have now concluded seed funding taking them through to the end of 2023, where they will being Series A funding in Q1 of ’24.
